Definition of Public Relation

According Fandi Tjiptono (2001; 230) argued that:

"Public relations is a comprehensive communications effort from a company to influence the perceptions, opinions, beliefs, and attitudes of kelomppok against the company."

Meanwhile, according to Marston in Sutisna (2001; 228) defines public relations as follows:
"Public relations is the skilled communications of ideas to the various publics with the object of producing a desired result."

From the above definition of public relations can be summed up public relations is responsible for determining two-way communication is tebuka with the whole community, and create good public opinion about the organization to achieve corporate objectives.
